Fall is fast approaching so I thought it would be a great time to share my favourite fall blushes!

Fall makeup is my absolute favourite makeup. I love the darker, yet still warm shades that become appropriate for everyday wear. Plums and roses are some of my go to shades, especially in the form of a blush. I'd have to say that MAC, Nars, Benefit and Clinique all do a fantastic job on blushes and are some of the best that I've used.

At the moment, my very favourite blush for the fall hands down has to be Nars' Sin. It's a really nice almost dusty mauve and it applies onto the cheeks really easily, it's quite blend-able too.

This next blush has been well loved, I purchased Benefit's Rockateur last fall and we've been inseparable ever since. It's a beautiful shimmery rose, but it isn't overly shimmery. It's a great shade for year round wear and compliments fair skin quite well.

Mac's blush in Mocha is great because it looks great on almost everybody! It's an easy choice and goes with so much. I enjoy shimmer in a blush but I think I may love a good matte blush more, which is why this blush is perfect for me in the fall.

Next up is Mac's plum foolery. This is the second time I have purchased this blush because i loved it the first time and used up every last bit until it was just a mess of powder. Like the name suggests this blush is a lovely plum with cool undertones with a frost finish, which makes it very wearable!

Lastly Cliniques blush in smoldering plum is a gorgeous plum shade for fall. This formula is amazing, it has to be one of the smoothest applications that applications ever.

I'm so excited that shades of plum are back!
