SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

Well, September has come and gone (and I've jumped right into October with both feet because I love it so much), which means it's time for September favourites!

I think above all, I've been loving autumnal candles the most this month. There is just something about a pumpkin scented candle that instantly makes you feel cozy and Bath & Body Works' candle in Creamy Pumpkin is no exception.

Next, in the more miscellaneous section, I've been obsessed with, A Beautiful Mess' second book, Happy Handmade Home. There is tons of home decor inspiration in this book and it gets even better because it's all DIY projects, so it's much funner and cheaper. I even tried my hand at the DIY sharpie mugs, and if I must say they turned out lovely! To see a photo just click here!

After searching the web for the perfect phone case I finally found it at UrbanOutfitters. it's a beautiful sun and moon design and it wasn't too expensive either!

I finally caved and purchased the Fuji instax mini 8, and my goodness it's wonderful! I just love the look of a polaroid and have always liked having a physical copy of pictures. I plan to find a cute dish for my living room where I can put all of my polaroids in, so when friends can come over they can look through them without the formality of a photo album.

I came across these lovely Keds at Journey's and just had to have them, they're so cute and girly and I love ANYTHING denim. They're part of the Taylor Swift range, which is why they're so fun and girly.

Moving onto my beauty favourites, I've been enjoying a new BB cream this month - Tarte's BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen in fair. It's super light but still covers redness and acne, which I love. It's alco great for combination skin.

Since it's been getting cooler outside I've been using a thicker moisterizer in the evening in an attempt to ward off any unwanted dryness and the Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial  by Korres has been doing wonders.

I use a lip balm all year round but once it gets a little chillier I start using a thicker consistancy, which is why I tried the Rosebud Salve. It's super mpisturing and smooth on the lips, plus it smells great!

Now that autumn is here I've been trying to stay away from my summery scents and opt towards a heavier scent, so I've been wearing SUGAR BY Fresh. It's not too heavy or strong, which is great because it doesn't make me feel ill and I can still get away with wearing it at university.

Every sepyember I break out Essie's polish in Bahama Mama because it's perfect fir that time period where you want a darker fall shade but you're not quite ready for the deep, almost black shades. It's a beautiful deep purple with a berry undertone, which is perfect for myself!

Lastly, just like every fall, I've been loving Clinique's chubby stick in Super Strawberry. Again it's one of those transition colours that work great for the beginning of fall because you still get the berry shade without it looking too intense. I think this is my third stick because i wear is so much.

I cannot tell you how excited I am for thanksgiving next weekend-I love a good turkey dinner and apple pie.
