MY SKINCARE ESSENTIALS

Hi Everybody! Today I've decided to share my skincare essentials and daily skin routine with you all! Below is a list of products and my morning and evening skincare regiment!

You may notice a common theme in the products mentioned below! I try my very best to pick products that are as natural as possible and animal cruelty free as possible as well. I know there are a few exceptions to this, but I've tried my very best and at the moment haven't found any better alternatives that work on my skin. It's very important to me that I do not promote animal cruelty and choose almost all natural products as I have VERY sensitive skin and eyes. So, if you're like me and have sensitive, combination/dry skin, then hopefully these products will hopefully help you!

Bioderma Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
Lush Buche de Noel Cleanser
Lush Ocean Salt Scrub
Lush Grease Lightning
Lush Tea Tree Water Toner
Origins Eye Doctor
Korres Greek Yogurt Moisturizing Face Cream - Day
Korres Greek Yogurt Moisturizing Face Cream - Night
Vichy Pro Even Night - For Dark Spots

My Daytime Routine: This really depends on whether I am actually showering or not, because let's be real some mornings you're hair isn't greasy and you don't feel like a shower. On these days I reach for my Bioderma cleanser first, which I apply on a cotton pad. Next I use Lush's Grease Lightning anywhere I have a pimple or feel one coming on. This product is a life saver and it lasts for several months because you only need a very small amount. Then I spritz my face with Lush's Tea Tree Water Spray, which is great for acne prone skin like mine! then I like to use Origins Eye Doctor Cream all around and under my eyes. After this I moisturize my face using Korres Greek Yogurt Face moisturizer for daytime. This product has been a life saver, especially for the cold maritime winter! I usually need to apply it twice in the morning, waiting about 15 minutes between applications. Now, If I am showering, the only difference is that I skip the Bioderma and wash my face in the shower with Lush's Buche de Noelle cleanser and twice a week I exfoliate my face with Lush's Ocean Salt scrub.

My Nighttime Routine: My evening skincare routine NEVER ever changes. I've been using these products in this order for about a year now and it works really great for me. I try my very best not to skip my evening routine because not only does my skin hate me in the morning, but it really helps me wind down at the end of the night. there is something really soothing about taking off all of your makeup at the end of a long day and giving it a good cleansing and moisturizing. First, I remove all of my face and eye makeup using Bioderma on a cleansing pad, then I do a second wipe to ensure I've gotten all of the makeup off. Next I use Grease lightning on any acne, then use the tea tree Water toner and moisturize my eye area using Origins Eye Doctor cream. Then I reach for Vichy's Pro Even Night, which I etiher apply to any dark spot or I sometimes use it as a face mask for about 5 minutes and then wipe off. This has been seriously life changing for me (the drama), as I suffer from acne scarring and used to be very self conscious about it. Lastly I apply Korees Greek Yogurt moisturizer for night all over my face and again in the winter I like to wait about 15 minutes and then reapply to ensure my face keeps in the moisture.

I hope some of you have found this useful or in the very least interesting! I would love to know if any of you have any other natural skincare recommendations! I'm always for trying new and promising products.
