I have been on the hunt for the perfect highlight brush for a long time now, and I finally found it. This made me realize that I have never shared which brushes I use with you all. So that's what we're going to do today!

1. MAC 217 Blending Brush
2. Bobbi Brown Eye Brow Brush
3. SEPHORA Pro All Over Powder Brush #61
4. MAC 227 Large Fluff Brush
5. MAC 219 Pencil Brush

These obviously aren't all of the brushes that I use on a daily basis (because let's face it, that's A LOT), but these are my "I can't live without you" brushes. A little dramatic, but you get the point.

I love the MAC 217 because it's SO versatile. You can use it to apply eye shadow all over your lid, on your brow bone, or most importantly, to your crease. I have even used it to contour my nose and to apply a highlight powder to my face.

Bobbi Brown's Eye Brow Brush is so great because the bristles are pretty stiff, which makes it very easy to apply brow powder exactly where you want it.

SEPHORA's  All Over Powder Brush is the best face powder brush that I have come across, hands down. I cannot sing its praises enough. If you have oily combination skin, than this is the brush for you! It's great at picking up face powder, even if it it pressed. It's even better at applying it to the skin. The best way I have found to do this is to gently press the bristles into my skin, with the most emphasis in the places I get oily; for me this is the dreaded "T-zone."

Like I mentioned earlier, the MAC 227 is PERFECT for highlight application. You can put the product exactly where you want it, it makes it super easy.

The best pencil brush I have found so far has to be the MAC 219. I am a person who LOVES to apply eye shadow to my lower lash line, my makeup doesn't feel finished until I do this. This brush does an amazing job because it's stiff enough that it gives you precision without creating harsh lines. That being said you can still get a pretty harsh line if you wanted.
